Our client is a leading player in the wind turbine market, and is currently seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to join their R&D team.
This role will be focused on the development of the turbine generator and will require a professional with over 3 years experience in the area of electromechanical design and electrical components design and testing. Experience in the areas of synchronous motors, electric drive technology, and magnetic analysis is important. FEM is also advantageous. Software applications to be knowledgeable in include - Speed, Flux, and analytic electrical design tools.
You will hold a minimum of a BSc in Electrical Engineering and have worked in a similar position, ideally with experience in new product development. Experience in managing teams is also advantageous.
