Our client is a leading global energy consultancy, with a significant renewables division. They have experience global success, and looking to build on that and extend into different markets.
As a result, they seek a QHSE Manager for the UK Renewables market to focus on both onshore and offshore wind renewables projects.
The role will be to:
- Manage the QHSE Services function within the UK renewable energy business
- Prepare quotations and scopes of work related to the specific project.
- Project execution within the field of QHSE.
Manage projects and provide solutions to clients. Portfolio of projects are likely to include the following:
- CDM Co-ordination and advice relating to regulations.
- Project H&S management
- Corporate HSE Advice and guidance
- HSE audits during manufacturing, transportation, installation and operation of onshore and offshore wind turbines.
- Project Quality Management and quality control
- Project Environmental Management
- Design Risk Analysis, Hazard Identification and risk control
- Marine Safety management
- Design, monitoring and review of client H&S management systems
Desired Skills & Experience
- Renewables QHSE experience relating to wind farm projects, preferable worked as a QHSE Manager within on and offshore wind energy projects
- Experience in QHSE Management in the UK and European wind energy market.
- Experience of QHSE regulations in Europe, preferable in the UK.
- Experience in developing QHSE systems, including documents such as HSE systems/ plans and Quality plan, for wind energy projects.
- Knowledge of the on and offshore wind energy industry.
- Exceptionally Customer focused.
