Onshore Wind Project Manager - UK - Wind
My Client, a UK based Wind Energy Developer, is looking to expand their existing project management capability due to a strong project pipeline. As a result of this, they are seeking a Project Manager for Onshore Wind Projects who will have significant input into the strategic direction of the overall business in a number of markets.
The successful candidate will manage the Development Team in Great Britain with the aim of developing new renewable energy projects (predominantly wind), from option signing through to planning permission.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Overall responsibility for the Development Team
*Prioritise and assign project management responsibilities to subordinates
*Implementation of development strategy for each project
*Collaboration with relevant planning departments for specific projects
*Preparation of planning applications
*Management of external consultants and liaison with internal specialist teams
*Arrange and attend local public consultations;
*Specialist input into parts of the environmental assessment reports prepared for each
project
*Budgeting and budget-tracking
*Participation in the development of the Company's Integrated Management System.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold a degree in a related subject and have experience with both the EIA full Planning process for Wind Farms in the UK. This person will also have demonstrable project management skills, with a proven ability to manage and meet competing deadlines and prioritise tasks. Salary will be calculated according to experience.
