An international wind turbine manufacturer is currently seeking an Offshore Logistics Manager to join their growing business. This is an opportunity to be apart of a internationally recognised name whose offshore products are recognised for their reliable design and are quickly becoming a leading player within the market.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
- Development of transport concepts
- Selection of appropriate transport according to HSE and quality standards
- Planning, monitoring and coordinating offshore operations as an interface between service providers
- Developing requirements for tendering process and be a main element of the decision process
- Responsible for the supply and disposal of resources used during deployments
- Supporting calculations (modelling) to provide to customer offerings
- Cost and time effective delivery of projects
Qualifications
- A degree and/or qualifications in a relevant field
- Experience in offshore logistics, with wind energy experience of great benefit
-Willingness to travel
- Excellent communication in English, written and spoken, with other European languages, particularly German a great plus
- Strong organizational, teamwork and management skills
