The Wind Industry in Germany is one of the most attractive markets within Wind Energy and has been growing at an increased rate in recent years. This company is a leader within Onshore Wind in Germany and has been developing Wind Farms in joint venture with leading Wind Turbine Manufacturers for over a decade. At present the company has added to their Wind portfolio and now manufacturer two multi MW Wind Turbines and develop, build, operate and service their own Onshore Wind Farms.
As a result of growth and successful Wind Energy business ventures, this organisation is expanding into new Wind markets and are developing a new Wind Turbine. They are searching for a Construction Engineer to manage wind turbine development projects in relation to construction and dimensioning of steel components in line with current standards and guidelines. You will carry out technical clarification of components from suppliers, support production and sales of components from the suppliers, 3D design of components and systems, organisation and preparation of production documents for the wind turbine development projects.
As a successful applicant you have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent training. You will have several years experience in machine and plant construction as well as strong knowledge of the construction of machines with drive technology components. You will have a finished training or education in a craftsman or technical profession and you will ideally also be qualified as a welding engineer. Finally, you will have strong command of 3D CAD or Solidworks and have an independent and structured approach to work as well as having strong initiative.
